So, we’ve recently noticed a number of these Spoofware emails come in :        06/23/2018 to 06/23/2019           $86.00                   1 Year

     Attn: Dave

This important expiration notification notifies you about the expiration notice of your domain registration for search engine optimization submission. The information in this expiration notification may contain confidential and/or legally privileged information from the notification processing department of the Domain Seo Service Registration to purchase our search engine traffic generator.

 And on and on . . .

So, just try reading that first sentence aloud.

Sounds a bit over the top you think ? Like, the notification is notifying you about a notice !

Failure to complete your seo domain name registration search engine optimization service process may make it difficult for customers to find you on the web.

So, not REALLY a scary email, IF you read the fine print further on. But up front is a clear indication of $86 – AND it is due now to avoid the imminent expiry of, er, something.

Ignore it.

(Oh, and by the way, the registration period, think about it – it’s one year AND one day ! Another little hint that this isn’t such a legit demand.)

Keep your scepticism on high alert !
