Prompts and file uploads are inspected for personal data (PII), health data (PHI), payment card data (PCI-DSS) and content marked Confidential.

Malicious or unsafe prompts, including prompt injection, are detected in real time, whether typed by a user or hidden in documents, emails or web pages.
Detect-only mode
Events are logged with minimal disruption, so you learn how AI is really used before enforcing anything.
Block mode
Strict enforcement that stops sensitive data and harmful prompts from reaching the AI tool.
Every policy violation goes into an events log showing the date, event type, device and user, the AI tool involved and whether it was blocked or allowed. Sensitive data inside images is not currently inspected, and for wider data loss prevention across local apps we can add Acronis DLP.

Shadow AI is staff using AI tools such as ChatGPT without the business knowing or approving it. The risk is that company or customer data ends up in tools you do not control.
Does it stop my team using AI?
No. The aim is safer AI use, not a ban. You can start by only monitoring, then block specific tools or sensitive data when you are ready.
Which AI tools does it cover?
It is designed for public GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and Claude, used through the browser or apps on protected workstations.
Does it protect data in images?
Not at present. Sensitive data in text, documents, presentations, spreadsheets and archives is inspected. Image content is not.
