What matters for IT in Lewes
A historic county town on a river has its own reasons to think about IT.
Files that survive the building
The River Ouse flooded 207 business properties here on 12 October 2000, according to the official recovery report. Copies of your data held away from the premises let you carry on working when the building can’t.
What backup coversOld walls, weak signal
Much of central Lewes is historic, and thick walls are hard on Wi-Fi. A survey shows where the signal drops. We work around the building, and agree the cabling before anything is drilled.
Wi-Fi surveysFirms clients must trust
With County Hall and Lewes Crown Court both in town, it’s a natural base for professional firms. If clients pay you after an email, a fake one in your name is a real risk, so protect your domain.
Email domain protectionSelling to the public sector
East Sussex County Council is based here. If you supply councils or other public bodies, you may be asked about your security, and Cyber Essentials is a recognised answer.

What does IT support cost in Lewes?
Our Core managed IT support is £65 per user per month, Core Secure, with built-in cyber security, is £89, and Core Assure is from £129 with a minimum monthly fee (all per user per month, excluding VAT). You can get an instant estimate on our Managed IT page.
Can you get us Cyber Essentials?

What are the contract terms?
Our managed IT agreements: You can start on a 90-day agreement (onboarding is a one-off fee) or choose a 12-month term, which includes free onboarding, a Technical Account Manager and, on Core Secure and Core Assure, a quarterly vCISO review. Notice is 1 month, effective no earlier than day 90, or after the first 12 months on a 12-month term.

Can you improve Wi-Fi in an older or listed building in Lewes?
Usually, yes. A Wi-Fi survey shows where the signal drops, then we recommend the fewest changes that fix it. If your building is listed, check with your conservation officer before any fixed cabling.
