What matters for IT in Eastbourne
Tourism, language schools and trading estates all sit side by side here, and each asks something different of its IT.
Busy seasons, changing staff
Tourism and hospitality are big local employers. If you take on seasonal staff, each one needs an account on day one and must lose it on their last. Leftover accounts are both a security gap and a monthly cost.
Free licence reviewLanguage schools and student data
Eastbourne is known for its international language schools. If you hold student records and passport details, you need to know who can see them, and your guest Wi-Fi should be kept apart from your systems.
Cyber securityUnits on the trading estates
If your unit on a trading estate still relies on an old phone line for phones, an alarm or a card machine, it needs a plan before the 2027 switch-off.
Phones and the switch-offAn honest word on distance
At about 25 miles, we won’t pretend to be around the corner. Remote fixes need no travel at all, and we plan visits ahead for hands-on work, so you know when someone is coming.

What are the contract terms?
Our managed IT agreements: You can start on a 90-day agreement (onboarding is a one-off fee) or choose a 12-month term, which includes free onboarding, a Technical Account Manager and, on Core Secure and Core Assure, a quarterly vCISO review. Notice is 1 month, effective no earlier than day 90, or after the first 12 months on a 12-month term.

Is Burgess Hill too far away to support an Eastbourne business?

Can guests use our Wi-Fi without reaching our business systems?
Yes, guest Wi-Fi can be kept separate, so visitors and students get online without any route to your files and systems. We start with a survey of your building, then recommend only the equipment you need.
How do you handle seasonal staff joining and leaving?
You tell the helpdesk who is starting and leaving, and we set up or close their accounts. Our free licence review also finds accounts nobody uses any more, so you stop paying for them.
