- Copilot Chat (free): included with Microsoft 365 business plans when you sign in with your work account. It’s a secure AI chat for drafting, summarising and web-based questions, and it’s much safer than free consumer chatbots.
- Microsoft 365 Copilot (paid): can also use your organisation’s data (emails, Teams chats, meetings and SharePoint files), and it works fully inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. It also includes features like Copilot Cowork, some of which use Copilot Credits.
Many businesses start with the free Copilot Chat for everyone and buy paid licences only for the people who’ll use them most.
