Yes. You receive full paperwork for every collection: a Duty of Care waste transfer document, an itemised audit list and certificates of data erasure or destruction.
What each document is for
- Duty of Care waste transfer note. UK law (the Environmental Protection Act 1990) requires businesses to hand waste only to authorised carriers and keep transfer records, normally for at least two years.
- Audit list. Every item collected, with serial numbers, so you can update your asset register.
- Certificate of data erasure or destruction. Proof that data on each device was securely wiped or the drive destroyed, which supports your UK GDPR obligations.
All documents are available in our online portal. Find out more about our IT recycling and secure data disposal service.
