  1. Open Settings. Go to Mail, then Mail Accounts, then Add Account. (On iOS 18 and later this is under Settings > Apps > Mail.)
  2. Choose your account type. For a Microsoft 365 work account, choose Microsoft Exchange. If you’re not sure, ask us.
  3. Enter your work email address and tap Next. Choose Sign In when asked.
  4. Sign in with your work account. Enter your password, and approve the prompt on your phone if multi-factor authentication asks you to.
  5. Choose what to sync. Switch on Mail, and Contacts and Calendars if you want them, then tap Save.
  6. Check it works. Open the Mail app and send yourself a test message. It can take a few minutes for older mail to appear.

Prefer the Outlook app? Install Microsoft Outlook from the App Store, open it, and sign in with your work account.

If you are asked to install a profile or app (for example Company Portal), that’s normal when your company manages its devices. Follow the prompts, or contact us.
